Blondes Vs Brunettes: The stars that have been both.
Natalie Portman recently stepped out with gorgeous fresh blonde locks, and I think she looks fantastic. Even though we are all used to seeing her a few shades darker, her new look doesn't take much getting used to, and I must admit, I think I prefer her as a blonde. So what other Celebs have tried both looks, and which do you prefer?
Everyone that knows me, knows that I ADORE Britney, however, I was not a fan of her darker hair. Back when she was married with K-Fed, Brit ditched her beautiful blonde sun-kissed hair, for a darker look. Why...I will never know. However, she wasn't dark for long, and returned to her blonde roots, and has never looked back since. I'm so glad!
Emma Stone.
Emma Stone is the new 'It' girl in Hollywood, and I love her. For her role in the next Spiderman film she returned to her roots.
she's
a natural blonde, and I think she looks amazing. However, Emma Stone, looks great with darker/redder hair too, and I can't decide which I like best. I guess she's just one of those irritatingly gorgeous girls that can pull off almost anything.
Kim Kardashian.
Kim Kardashian has got to be one of the most beautiful people on the planet.
She has natural beauty, but when she went blonde a year or so back, I was mortified.
I could'nt understand why she did it, she has unbelievable hair and she didn't need
to change anything about it. Her blonde hair didn't look right with her skin tone, and I was so glad when after just a few weeks as a blonde
she returned to her natural self. I would love hair like Kim's, and I hope she sticks to the dark hair from now on

Katy Perry
I was so shocked when I found out Katy was a natural blonde, because it doesn't suit her!Maybe thats because we are all so used to seeing her with jet black hair but in my opinion she should stick to what we all know and love her for, her gorgeous black shiny hair.
What other celebrities have been both blonde and brunette? Feel free to comment. Thanks for reading xoxox

Highlighting pens. The new craze.
In a recent article in 'Closer' magazine, Lauren Goodger did a 'Get my look' page, with a 5 step guide on how she applies her make-up and gets her skin looking so gorgeous. She uses the 'Lumi' pen as part of her day to day make-up routine, to highlight sections of her skin to give herself a natural looking glow.
Here are the steps below.
1) Apply your base:
Apply a skin matching foundation, I personally would recommend MAC foundation. I recently bought some, and it gives fantastic coverage, now I've used MAC, I don't think I could ever go back to using other brands.
2) After applying your foundation, define your features with bronzer under your cheekbones. Any bronzer will do, just make sure its not too dark and you don't apply too much. Then use a dab of pink blusher over your cheek apples.
3) Next it's time to use the 'Lumi pen' draw stripes along the brow, cheek creases and chin, draw a 'V' shape on your forehead and dots under the eyes and along the cheekbones, then blend with your fingers to give you a natural looking glow. You can then apply the rest of your make-up as normal.
In the past I've tried to follow make-up tutorials and I've never been able to re-create the look I was trying to copy, however, the Lumi pen is so easy to use, and it really does give you amazing looking skin, and a wonderful glow.
Kim Kardashian recently tweeted some pictures of herself getting her make-up done, using the same techniques as Lauren Goodger, and her skin is always flawless. In my opinion the 'Lumi Pen' is a MUST have, and its only £8.49!
You can buy the 'Lumi Pen by L'Oreal at Boots, Superdrug, and supermarkets selling L'Oreal make-up.

Celebrity hair extensions: The good and bad.
So I have recently been thinking about getting hair
extensions, as I'm so sick of my own hair. I want to add some thickness to my
hair and I've been researching different brands. As I researched, I came across
loads of pictures of celebrities with bad extensions, so this got me thinking
if it was really a good idea.
So..I've come up with a list of the best and worst celebrity
hair extensions to help me make my decision.
THE BEST.
MILEY CYRUS:Miley also has naturally thick hair, so needs thick extensions. Her hair always looks in fabulous condition, really shiny and well looked after. Her hair stylist adds multiple shades of brown extensions to her hair instead of using one block colour, this compliments your hairs natural highlights/lowlights and gives your hair more gloss and shine.
BRITNEY SPEARS. I am one of Britney's biggest fans, but I can't deny the fact that in the past, she has had terrible hair extensions. We all remember when Britney shaved her head and then decided to add hair extensions using the fusion method to add length to her short hair. Unfortunately the mismatch in colour and the visible extensions fused at the root did not become a good look for her. Thankfully she has now turned a corner and her hair is looking so much better lately.
After looking at some of these pictures...I think I might just stick to the clip in extensions, atleast that way my hair wont get damaged, and I can always take them out!

Baby Rancic has arrived.
'THE DUKE HAS
LANDED'
E! News
presenter Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill, welcomed their first child via gestational
carrier on Wednesday.
The baby boy,
named Edward Duke Rancic weighed in at a healthy 7 pounds for ounces.
Labour lasted
just over four hours and went smoothly and relatively quickly. Both Bill and
Giuliana were in the delivery room the entire time, erupting in tears of joy
the moment their son arrived. Bill cut the umbilical cord minutes after Edward
was born, and Giuliana was the first to hold her son.
The past few
years have been tough for the couple, and I am so happy that they finally have
their baby boy safely in their arms.
After failed
IVF, and suffering a miscarriage, to then find out she had breast cancer, life
over the fact few years has been tough for Giuliana and Bill. It was the
feritility doctor in Denver that insisted Giuliana had a mammogram, and to everyone’s
horror, Giuliana was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 36. Thankfully
it was caught early and Giuliana is now a breast cancer survivor who has become
a prominent spokeswoman about the importance of early detection.
As part of
her treatment for breast cancer, Giuliana will be on medication for the next
five years which means she won’t be able to get pregnant until her treatment is
over. This is why the couple decided upon a gestational carrier.
Bill announced his son's birth on Twitter saying, "The 'Duke' has landed! Edward Duke Rancic was welcomed into the world last night at 7lbs 4oz. G & I feel blessed beyond words...We did it!"
Giuliana also tweeted about her sons arrival saying 'It's true what they say (and what u all told us)....@BillRancic and I couldn't love little Duke anymore than we do. He's a dream'.

Pictures are
yet to have been realised of baby Edward, but I'm sure we won’t have to wait
too long before we get a preview.
